Got the same email. Amount was $989. The number they got me to call was +64 9 889 1031. Same result though, a scam to try and get your CC details

Rang stated they were from the fraud team at the bank and was very forceful in wanting more information and to following instructions. said no and will call my team at the bank directly, kept saying no from bank trust them, and then I ended the call, rang the bank to confirm if it was the bank and confirmed it was not

answered this call once in mid-2021 told them i wasnt interested in telemarketer and asked how they got my number, got rude reply and told them to not call back and blocked number. I can see they have rung my cell 3x in less than a month.

Then advised him that I was rung a couple of weeks ago for the same thing and I said then that we’re not interested. Male English speaking, introduced himself from 'NZ ASSIST'(no name), and launched into asking if I was a working home owner... When asked how he got my number, he said "randomised selection..." I asked him to take me off his 'random' list before hanging up on him. Interestingly when you ring the number back, it just rings and rings and rings... clearly HE doesn't like to be annoyed...
