They have phoned before numerous times and asked for my father (Silent call) reported by


My father has Alzheimers and was recently admitted to dementia care. When dad used to answer the phone they tried to scam him but he always hung up on him. Now when I answer they hang up as they know they will get nowhere with me. I tried to call the number back and I got the "no such number" signal. I thought it might be something urgent and I was in fact on another crisis call on my mobile but that person let me go so I could answer the landline and when I did they hung up on me. So I lost an urgent call thanks to them.

Claimed they were from one of "Australia's Largest Charities". Calling from a NZ number? I don't think so. Told the lady with the Philipino accent to get a different job because trying to scam people is low.
