Delay in talking. Then thanked me for taking his call. Asked my name. I said who are you . Said his name was Jeff. I asked why he was calling. he said I can get you into a rental property with no deposit. I said I do not need that stop calling me. He laughed

Tristan called. Knew my name. Asked if I "watched the news", trying to get me involved in conversation. Mentioned a carjacking in Papakura?! Tried to hook me with "are you a homeowner and would you like to go in the draw to win $1000? Oh you don't want $1000? We're trying to help people have a secure financial future." I suggested this approach was scammy and it was polite to have a different approach when trying to elicit people's private information from them. He said his boss wouldn't allow him to be open about who he worked for and what he was trying to sell.

Began call by thanking for answering then asked my opinion on the NZ Housing Market. Began to offer $1000 then stopped and said I was not actually eligible after all. I gave no information on myself yet he knew my name.
