The man (non-native English speaker, possibly Indian) said he was calling because I had selected some thing saying I was interested in making an online investment. When I asked what this meant he said something about that he works for a company that lets you invest in big companies like Apple and Samsung. When I said he was obviously a scam he gave a date -July something? that I had indicated my interest in the opportunity. I reiterated that he was obviously a scam and he got quite worked up - asking why I thought that. I hung up on him.

Told me I registered online for extra income, told her no I hadn’t registered, she then continued to tell me I did. When I said I’m not interested she said let me change your mind I said no but played on it a little bit as I knew she was a scammer. In the end I hung up

They said I had registered interest in online trading and earning extra income online. I had not registered any interest in this so I told them so, hung up and blocked the call.

They asked after someone else, I told them they had the wrong number to which they asked how long I have had my number. I replied many years. They said someone has registered interest in earning extra income online with my phone number and that I can still take advantage of this. When I told them I was not interested, they told me why would I not be interested in making extra money and that they were not trying to sell me anything. Their tone was pushy and blunt. I hung up and blocked the number.
