Rude individual who said she could help me make money, I told her to stop calling and go away then hung up. She called back and gave her piece of mind then I received another call from a different number from another woman with the same accent. Tired of these scam calls every night.

Two calls in succession (Scam call) reported by


A call first came from 099508857 and hung up after I answered. A second call followed from 099508855, a philipino sounding lady said I had registered for a second income. I asked her how she determined this. She went quiet but did not hang up. I hung the phone shortly afterwards as I suspect they try to get a port into your phone and if You do not hang up, they are probably hacking into your phone. Sounds dangerous.

Silent call the first time and then scam (Financial services) reported by


The same number called twice. It was a silent call the first time. The second time a guy (with Indian accent) said he was from a trading company (I couldn't catch what exactly he was talking about) and offering online share trading services. He said I registered my interest to earn extra income etc etc. I cut him off because I sensed this was dodgy and I have never registered to anything like this.

Man called me by name, said I had signed up to trade12 and how old was I. I told them I never signed up and why were they trying to call me, they said another trader had referred me and given my first/last name/email/phone. I asked what was their name and they said due to privacy they could not reveal. I said I was not interested if they could not give me the information I was asking for and they abruptly hung up. Scam and I believe another company has sold my details to them.

Woman on the line persisted that she would not have called me if I had not registered my interest in earning extra income online. I have not (knowingly) signed up for anything. I insisted she had the wrong person or had signed up in error. She persisted from her end. Eventually I hung up. Dodgy individual. Bad feels from the start.

Claimed they receive my contact details from signing up, after going along with their business they were persistent to keep me on the phone. Each time I tried to say I was busy and would consider them another time they would try to persuade me to stay on the line. Ultimately, their end goal was to get my visa debit card details to pay a $250 USD deposit for my signup.

Called again and left message re bank (not mine) but when I called number got "the person you are trying to call is unable to answer your call now'. This is not the service a reputable business would provide.

They rang stating a name if their company (Bank) that I could not hear clearly but I know that is not the bank I I'm signed up with. The person in the phone said "I see here you are signed up with us, could you give us some details to ensure you get reward money", obviously I knew it was not real. I replied "what company did you say you were? I am not signed up with you and I don't know who you are" his confidence was shaken and he then said "you don't want any additional reward money?" I began saying again what is your company name ready to look up online who they infact were but they abruptly hung up.
