Trying to get me to switch to Mercury Energy. Wanted my identification details before they would send me information. Wouldn't send information unless I provided ID details. Know of too many ID thefts to trust that. And if it is Mercury they need a shove. Be very careful.

I missed the call and got notification that I had a voice message. Listened to message - someone was there (no background noise and could hear breathing) and then they hung up. Called yesterday too. Cell had identified it as possible spam but as I got voicemail text I hadn't checked incoming calls where it alerts as spam

Caller stated he was from Mercury Energy, which was a lie as he later stated he was actually contracted by Mercury Energy to call residents in a certain area to switch to their company. The caller admitted he had called my 15 times in the last 8 days, and openly laughed about this and how he will continue calling until someone answers. Advice: block this number

This was a telemarketer from Mercury Energy who said he was calling to see if he could save me money by offering me a better power deal. I said I wasn't interested and hung up before blocking their phone number. Now I'm wondering who sold my contact details to them. They called me on my contracted cell phone number, so not a prepaid number. Not entirely sure if that makes a difference lol.
