Samsung allows you to listen to the call without picking it up. A man over the call began to drop the f bomb and talk about rabbits or something that i don't remember then hangs up. I don't know if it was a survey or not.

Called me asking to do a survey for a $500 voucher. They asked me by a name I use for games and nothing else. They asked if I was over 18, and I said no, then they said "Oh we can still **** you into win the voucher, we just need to confirm some details". Stupidly, I gave them the address, and then they asked if my email was still (email that I haven't used in a year) then I realised it was a scam.

Had my name and my address from 6 years ago... asked to do a (roughly) 3minute life style survey and for my time **** me in the draw to win a 500 countdown voucher which would be drawn in mid October winner would be notified by email... when asked to update my address i questioned her what brand this was for she repeated "brands of choice" and offered me to look at their website before completing the survey she would call me back tomorrow... can't find a website did find a Facebook page and this thread though... not sure what to think but won't be answering tomorrow incase

FarmLifeMumma's comment is almost exactly what has just happened to me. I declined to provide my address and the caller said that that was how they would contact me. I was polite and said I did not wish to participate, wished him a good day and hung up. Googled BrandLeaders - no data available He was still trying to convince me that he was from a legitimate organisation when I hit the button to end the call.

They had an old email address and an old physical work address which was very odd. Stupidly answered some of the questions before realising that this probably wasn't the best idea. They now have my actual address - which is my mistake. The phone line started to cut-out so I hung up and blocked the number so I won't be called again. I highly doubt this was a real "Lifestyle survey for the average Kiwi".
