*Did not answer any of my questions clearly, following only the wording on a script, wanting me to answer yes or no questions, and only saying things like, this is free, you can win a prize, this is absolutely voluntary but not answering how I can unvolunteer. I refused to follow along with her questions and just cut right to 'I want to not be called' repeatedly.

I answered the call from an unknown Auckland number. An American woman's voice who knew my name and then began telling me about Omnilead. I had never heard of it before. Said I had entered a competition online a while back and they were now ringing to give me the opportunity to win a Hyundai car, $13,000 & something else if i did a short survey giving personal details. I said I wanted to opt out, could I go on their website to do that, and she promptly hung up on me!

Saying I won a competition awhile ago (Scam call) reported by


An Indian man had been calling a few times so finally answered it, he couldn’t give me any details about this so called competition I had won or when it was, only knowing it was awhile ago and that I had not claimed it. He also wanted to know some personal questions which I stopped him straight away before he could go any further and refused to answer any questions and said this sounds like a scam and he laughed and said “people have said that but no they we not” then he gave me an address that I haven’t lived at for over 6 years which I didn’t agree to having lived there and once again told him this sounds like a scam and to take my name/number off there calling list, he hung up the phone in my ear pretty quickly and rudely I must add. (Will be blocking this number) my scammers list is getting pretty big now.

cut off as soon as I answered. i called the number back... pleasant recorded message about a competition via Omnilead, that they would call again, and if want to opt out enter the number you are calling from. i did this but you don't get any confirmation that it has been received

This guy called me saying I won some competition online and I asked what competition, that I never entered details on websites. He told me "Why would I know your name if you didn't enter your details blabla" I was asking him further details about his call and why it seems suspicious to me and it seems like he got **** so he said if you don't like the call we can end this conversation and I said yea then I hung up.
